What "body-safe" actually means
All Velvé Noir devices are made from medical-grade silicone or body-safe ABS plastic — both non-porous, hypoallergenic, and free of phthalates, latex, and BPA. Every manufacturing batch is tested by an independent lab before it's approved for sale.

How We Choose What We Sell
Not every product on the market makes it into the Velvé Noir catalog. Before anything is added to our shelves, we ask the same handful of questions: Is the material genuinely body-safe? Is it built well enough to hold up to real, repeated use? Does it solve an actual need, or is it just a gimmick dressed up for a listing photo? If a product doesn't clear that bar, we leave it out.
We also think about how a product fits into a private life — quiet operation, simple charging, packaging that doesn't announce itself. That's part of why our catalog stays deliberately small rather than trying to carry one of everything.
